Snowdon is one of the finest and most famous mountains in the British Isles and has no rivals south of the Scottish Highlands. This book describes every recognised route to the summit, from the six 'Classic Paths' to the many lesser known and less frequented routes. There is also a section on the minor summits within the range and two enhanced Ordnance Survey maps. The book has lots of colour photographs including illustrations showing an overview of each route. The book also includes an essay on Snowdon in the nineteenth century.

If you plan to climb Snowdon this little guide will help you decide which route to take. but you will need OS Explorer map OL17 (and compass) to walk any of these routes safely.
Following an informative introduction to Snowdon the routes are described in detail. For each route distance, height gain, estimated time, a brief outline, start location and clear ascent instructions are provided.
