Guidebook to Suffolk Pub Walks

Guidebook to Suffolk Pub Walks

by: Laurie Page
Discover the beauty of Suffolk with this cute little guidebook which will lead you to some of the best walks the county has to offer. The 20 circular routes vary in length from 3 to 5.5 miles and are centred on a broad variety of good and in some cases award-winning pubs.

The routes include historic market towns such as Nayland, which appears in the Domesday Book, the sea views of Wallberswick, Willy Lott's Cottage made famous by the painting 'The Hay Wain' by John Constable and the stunning meadows, woods and farmland around Constable Country.

The pocket-size book is printed in full colour and includes colour photographs of some of the pubs and places visited. Each of the walk entries includes walk summary and highlights, pub details including telephone, web address and post code, how to get to the start, parking information and the relevant OS Explorer map sheet number. The navigation instructions are printed in numbered paragraphs and there are simple sketch maps which also show the paragraph numbers locations. It would be advisable to have the OS map with you.
