The south-western corner of Wales has a coastline which compares favourably with any other in the British Isles. From the vertiginous cliffs of Cemaes Head to the ancient oaks of Lawrenny; from the cathedral city of St David's to the seaside conviviality of Tenby and from the mellow remains of past industry at Porthgain to an almost forgotten but beautiful tower house at Angle there is something for every walker to enjoy. Everywhere there is fine scenery, outstanding views and glorious beaches to relax on.

The twenty walks in this book are circular and nearly all involve some coastal walking for part of the route. Distances are mostly about 3 to 6 miles in length. The routes are designed to let you explore every aspect of the Pembrokeshire coastline with its diversity and rich wildlife and include many of its best walking locations. Each walk chapter starts with a brief description and information about how to get to the start. The main detailed route description has numbered paragraphs and a sketch map with the paragraph numbers shown as location points is included.
