This guide follows the SW Coast National Trail from Minehead to Bude, a distance of 124 miles (200km). This spectacular ten to twelve day route crosses Exmoor National Park following the highest coastline in England at over 800ft, through idyllic villages such as Lynton and Clovelly, by some of Britain's best sandy beaches, and around Hartland Point to Bude just in Cornwall.

The guide includes 68 detailed sketch maps at the large scale of 1:20,000, making route finding easy. The unique mapping features include walking times, directions, tricky junctions, places to stay, places to eat and points of interest. These are not general purpose maps but fully edited maps drawn by walkers for walkers. The maps are supported by detailed route descriptions.
